Agility Resources

Morgan and I discovered agility because there was a small course setup at the vet when I brought Morgan there at 8 weeks old. Then in Puppy Kindergarten class we were introduced to a few obstacles like the tunnel and chute. When Morgan was 6 months old I attended my first Agility trial, the 1999 AKC National Championships. I took my camcorder and filmed most of the runs, then reviewed them at home and learned the commands and movements by watching the pros! Even if there is no training facility near you, you can still learn, just like I did, from videos, books, and the best resource there is: the internet!

Dogpatch Dog Agility Page
Again, tons of information here. Don't let the pepto-bismal pink scare you off.

Agility Net

This site is based in the UK, but you'll find a lot of helpful information and articles about the sport, from the country that it originated in.

AKC
Find the basic rules and regs of AKC Agility here, plus search the events calendar for upcoming trials and past trial results. Also get the specs on building your equipment here!

USDAA
The United States Dog Agility Association's site has an event calendar updated weekly, and all the rules and regs of their trials. Some people enjoy USDAA events more then AKC because of the different games and courses like Snookers, Gamblers, and Pairs.

The North American Dog Agility Council site lists rules and regs, clubs, and an event calendar.

UKC

The United Kennel Club offers Agility with different obstacles then the other 3 clubs...including the Hoop Tunnel, Plateform Jump, Sway Bridge and Swing Plank.
